Q: Are your classes suitable for all levels?

A: Yes, our classes are suitable for all levels of fitness, from couch potato to cage fighter!

Different options are given for all exercises to adapt them to your own personal fitness level and ability.

Q: How long do your classes last?

A: The actual workout itself will last approximately 45 minutes on average (every workout is different so exact times will vary). This includes a 10-15 minute warm up, followed by a 20-40 minute workout.

Please allow an hour over all, to take into account time for instruction/putting away equipment after the session etc.

Q: What should I wear/What do I need to bring?

A: We recommend wearing multiple layers in order to deal with the unpredictable Manchester weather!

You will get very warm during the actual workout, but you may get cold beforehand or afterwards.

You may also want to consider wearing a pair of sports gloves, as at times you will have to put your hands on the floor which may be cold/wet/rough. We also recommend thin, flat soled, minimalist trainers such as vivobarefoot shoes.

A water bottle and sweat towel may also be a good idea.

Q: Do you offer a trial session?

A: Yes, we offer a free trial session to all new customers.  All we ask is that if you do sign up for the trial you do make the effort to come along to the class.

Q: Where and when are your sessions?

Q: Is there car parking at the park?

A: There is a small car park in the park (on Nell Lane by the site office – See our Location page for a Map), however spaces are limited. There is also parking on the streets nearby, or why not cycle!

Q: How much do your sessions cost?

A: Please check our Prices and Membership page.

Q: If we do a joint membership, do we both have to come at the same time?

A: No, you may both come individually as well as together if you have different schedules.

Q: If I do a single day membership, do I always have to come on the same day?

A: If possible we prefer that you pick a day so that we can manage expected numbers. If however from time to time you need to swap, we should be able to make arrangements.

Q: Am I tied in to a long contract?

A: No. We operate a rolling 30 day contract, with no long tie ins. We are confident that you will enjoy the sessions and get results, so we have no need to tie you in! To cancel, you simply have to give 30 days notice to the direct debit company.

Q: What if I am going on a long holiday?

A: If you are going on holiday for a month or so, we can pause your membership, and restart it when you return (note we require 30 days notice to do so).

Q: Is your class a bootcamp?

No, we are not a military fitness style class. All our instructors are qualified and experienced personal trainers. We place an emphasis on safe, effective, efficient and fun workouts. Though our sessions may be challenging, we do not push people to failure, and ensure that everyone works out to a level that will produce maximum results, without risking injury or over training.
